Our Story

iSpark Toys was built out of a pursuit for hands-on play that encourages critical thinking and curiosity in children.

I have always had a deep appreciation for STEM and Maker Movement toys, but it was tough to find a selection that my children found fun and engaging, or a place where we could play with them before buying. And guess what, it wasn’t just me… I kept meeting more and more parents who said “We wish we could take our kids to a toy store where they will be inspired to learn more about science and math!”

iSpark Toys was created to fulfill that wish and to celebrate kids’ natural creativity and curiosity. We want to make it fun, easy, and inspirational to build, explore and create. From the beginning, the iSpark Toys team’s focus was to involve creative parents who dream with their kids, valued experts who like to play with these invigorating toys, and a community of kid testers who keep us on our toes and ensure the toys are fun and engaging.

We love working at iSpark Toys. We value how involved our kids and friends are in bringing the store to life. Most importantly, at iSpark Toys, we believe kids shouldn’t be afraid to ask questions and test ideas. There are no wrong questions!

Always question, always wonder!

What is STEM?

STEM Education LogoSTEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is a movement focused on expanding education in these disciplines and providing opportunities for your children. Careers in these respective fields are expanding exponentially and provide places for future generations to thrive. STEM toys fit into this puzzle by making education more rewarding and instilling passion in learning. With only 16 percent of American high school seniors interested in a STEM career, it is imperative that parents find a way to spark their child’s imagination and kindle their minds. That is where we can help.
